Ao expedir esta titulação para +Dom Moysés Barbosa, a instituição concedente levou em consideração três itens importantes, conforme a entrevista previamente feita, sem que o distinguido tivesse conhecimento prévio de que seu nome havia sido indicado para receber a outorga: cursos realizados na área (foram dois), exercício deste ministério (no Exército Nacional, no passado, e na Cruzada Mundial de Literatura, na atualidade) e experiência (são mais de quarenta anos consecutivos).

+Dom Moysés recebeu em 2009, o honroso título de Personalidade Brasileira do Século XX e de Personalidade da Década. Ficou muito feliz e até mesmo surpreso, pois pouquíssimas personalidades foram agraciadas com tais homenagens, e jamais imaginou que um dia fosse receber tamanha distinção.

Um ano depois foi premiado com a lauda acima. Sua alegria foi muito maior, e a surpresa também, pois sempre se considerou um dos mais humildes dentre os proclamadores da Santa Palavra de Deus.

Anyway this honor helps us to always keep our mind sharp, so that each day we will do our best to God.

Quando +Dom Moysés Barbosa completou em 2007 onze anos ininterruptos no cargo de Magnífico Reitor do Seminário Teológico Centro-Fluminense, recebeu esta valiosa condecoração da Cruzada Mundial de Literatura (CML), entidade que atua na evangelização em todos os países do mundo e que tem na direção aqui no Brasil o Pastor Dr. José Messias de Melo, Grande Homem de Deus.
When +Sun Moyses Barbosa completed in 2007 consecutive 11 years in the office of Rector of the Theological Seminary Central Fluminense received this valuable award of World Literature Crusade (CML), an organization which acts in evangelization in every country in the world and has the direction in Brazil Pastor Dr. José Messias de Melo, Great Man of God.
Na época +Dom Moysés acabara de receber a posse definitiva do Medalhão do Reitor (de posse transitória), pela permanência durante dez anos na reitoria. E já está reeleito até 2012.

Foi um dos fundadores da Conferência Nacional dos Bispos do Brasil e grande defensor dos direitos humanos. Pregava uma Igreja simples, voltada para os pobres e a não-violência. Por sua atuação, recebeu diversos prêmios nacionais e internacionais. Foi o único brasileiro indicado quatro vezes para o Prêmio Nobel da Paz.
Dom Helder Pessoa Camara, (Fortaleza, February 7, 1909 - Recife, August 27, 1999) was a Catholic bishop, archbishop of Olinda and Recife. He was a founder of the National Conference of Bishops of Brazil and great defender of human rights. He preached a simple church, facing the poor and non-violence. For his performance, has received several national and international awards. It was the only Brazilian shown four times for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Dom Marcos Barbosa, nascido Lauro de Araújo Barbosa (Cristina, 12 de setembro de 1915 - Rio de Janeiro, 5 de março de 1997), foi um monge beneditino brasileiro e padre católico, escritor, poeta e membro da Academia Brasileira de Letras. Bacharelou-se em Ciências Jurídicas e Sociais pela Faculdade Nacional de Direito da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Durante a vida universitária, participou intensamente do Centro Dom Vital e da Ação Católica Universitária.
Dom Marcos Barbosa, Lauro de Araújo Barbosa (Cristina, September 12, 1915 - Rio de Janeiro, March 5, 1997) was a Brazilian Benedictine monk and Catholic priest, writer, poet and member of the Brazilian Academy of Letters. Graduated in Law and Social Sciences Faculty of Law, National University of Rio de Janeiro. During his college life, participated heavily in the Dom Vital Center and Catholic Action University.
Ao concluir o curso de Direito, iniciou estudos em Letras Clássicas, que interrompeu ao entrar para a ordem beneditina em 1940, ordenando-se sacerdote em 1946. Escreveu diversas crônicas em jornais e revistas, mantendo uma coluna semanal no Jornal do Brasil. Tornou-se secretário particular de Alceu Amoroso Lima. Foi tradutor das conhecidas obras: O Pequeno Príncipe, O Menino do Dedo Verde e Marcelino Pão e Vinho. Manteve um programa de rádio na Rádio Jornal do Brasil, intitulado Encontro Marcado.
Upon completion of law school, he began studies in Classical Literature, which interrupted when he joined the Benedictine order in 1940, was ordained priest in 1946. He wrote several chronicles in newspapers and magazines, keeping a weekly column in the Journal of the Brazil. Became private secretary of Alceu Amoroso Lima. Was known translator of the works: The Little Prince, The Boy in the Green Finger and Marcelino Bread and Wine. He kept a radio program on Radio Journal do Brazil, titled Blind Date.

Muitas mulheres de faraós tinham tido um lugar ao sol ao lado de seus maridos e somente duas delas haviam governado por breve tempo, mas Hatshepsut foi a primeira que se arrogava a divindade e a realeza, usando dupla coroa, que indicava a soberania sobre as duas regiões do Alto e Baixo Egito.

Indomável e inteligente soberana (1624-1663) do povo Ginga de Matamba e Angola e nascida em Cabassa, interior de Matamba, que altaneira e silenciosa conseguiu juntar vários povos na sua luta contra os invasores portugueses e resistiu até ao fim sem nunca ter sido capturada, tornando-se conhecida pela sua coragem e argúcia. Do grupo étnico Mbundu, era filha do rei dos mbundus no território Ndongo, hoje em Angola, e Matamba, Ngola Kiluanji, foi contemporânea de Zumbi dos Palmares (1655-1695), o grande herói afro-brasileiro.

Ainda não havíamos tomado contato com uma condecoração alusiva ao Descobrimento do Brasil, pelo menos com este nome. E agora, quando já estamos na contagem regressiva para a comemoração dos 510 anos do descobrimento, o Rabino Wendell, Grão-Colar do Instituto de História e Ciências Teológicas de Salvador, outorgou ao Comendador Dr. Moysés Barbosa a medalha de grande honra “Cruz do Descobrimento” e o reconheceu como um grande estadista teológico, o que sem dúvida é por demais honroso para +Dom Moysés.
Had not yet made contact with a plaque depicting the discovery of Brazil, at least with this name. And now, when we are in the countdown to the celebration of 510 years of discovery, the Rabbi Wendell, Grand Collar of Sciences Institute of History and Theology of Salvador, gave the Commander Dr.Barbosa, Moyses a medal of honor of the “Cross Discovery” and recognized as a great statesman theological, which certainly is too honorable for +Dom Moyses.

Esta condecoração veio mais de quatro décadas após +Dom Moysés ter feito parte, como graduado do Exército, da “Reserve Troop” da “UNEF - United Nations Emergency Force”, mas é como se tivesse sido outorgada há muito tempo, pois transformou em presente inesquecíveis fatos do passado, época do serviço militar, os quais sempre continuarão enobrecendo a vida do homenageado.
This decoration was more than four decades after +Dom Moysés have been part and graduated from the Army, the “Reserve Troop” of the “UNEF - United Nations Emergency Force”, but it is as if it had been granted long ago, turned it into this unforgettable events of the past, when military service, which will always ennoble the life of the honored.
O dia 29 de Maio é a data magna internacional dos mantenedores de paz da ONU. Foi inserida no calendário cívico pois em tal dia, no ano de 1948, o Conselho de Segurança da ONU autorizou, pela primeira vez, o estabelecimento de uma operação de manutenção de paz, dando inicio então a um programa de busca de soluções pacificas para os conflitos internacionais. Passou a chamar United Nations Emergency Force - UNEF.
The May 29 is the international date of magna peacekeepers of the UN. It was included in the civic calendar because on that day in the year 1948, the Security Council of the UN, authorized for the first time, the establishment of a maintenance of peace, beginning then a program to search for peaceful solutions to international conflicts. Quando +Dom Moysés prestou o serviço militar, no Exército Brasileiro, há mais de 40 anos atrás, fez parte da Reserve Troop (contingente de reserva) apto a seguir para o exterior em missão de paz, como sargento, mas não seguiu por não ser preciso, mas recebeu a boina azul de seu comandante de companhia, juntamente com uma medalha.
When +D. Moyses took the military service in the Brazilian Army, more than 40 years ago, he joined the Reserve Troop (number of reserve) able to follow overseas in peacekeeping missions, such as sergeant, but did not be accurate, but received the blue beret of his company commander, along with a medal.

Traduzindo o texto-motivação para o português lemos que a homenagem prestada leva em conta “o esforço, que vem trazendo os melhores resultados, para alcançar o maior número possivel de cidades aqui da Alemanha”. In Germany there are missionaries who belong to religious denomination of +D. Moyses (Baptist). Dr. Moyses Barbosa was born in Rio de Janeiro (capital), but settled in Three Rivers, with his parents when he was only two years old. Therefore, all his life was developed in this city: studies, marriage, children, granddaughter, most jobs and even their retirement in the secular. He feels very honored to be considered a trirriense the House that represents all citizens.

Ainda dentro do decênio das comemorações do transcurso dos 500 anos do Descobrimento do Brasil, que se iniciaram em 22 de abril de 2.000, o Dr. Moysés Barbosa foi laureado com o Mérito Pedro Álvares Cabral, pelo Conselho Acadêmico de Filosofia Histórica, Religiosa e Teológica do Brasil, “por sua história e trabalho reconhecido internacionalmente”, tendo sido considerado um “grande descobridor de conceitos filosóficos e qualificado como um grande estadista” no Brasil.
Also within the decade of the celebrations of the passing of 500 years of the Discovery of Brazil, which started on April 22, 2000, Dr. Moyses Barbosa was awarded the Merit Pedro Alvares Cabral, the Academic Council of Historical Philosophy, Theology and Religious Brazil, “for his work history and internationally recognized” and was considered a “great discoverer of philosophical concepts and qualified as a great statesman” of Brazil.

Quando o Dr. Moysés completou 13 anos de ordenação ao ministério pastoral (já exercera antes o ministério de evangelista), recebeu Moção de Congratulações de todos os pontos do país. Na impossibilidade de detalhá-las uma a uma aqui (mas todas aparecem em “Condecorações e Homenagens”), traz a concedida pelo Dr. Paulo Roberto Capanema da Fonseca, que é Pastor e Desembargador Federal no Tribunal Regional do Trabalho da Primeira Região (RJ). Ele conviveu com o Dr. Moysés pessoalmente, por muitos anos, quando presidia a Vara do Trabalho em Três Rios, na qual Dr. Moysés atuou como servidor concursado até se aposentar.
When Dr. Moyses complet 13 years of ordination to the ministry (as exercised before the ministry of evangelist) received Motion of Congratulations from all over the country. He lived with Dr. Moyses personally, for many years, when presiding over the Labor Court in Three Rivers, which Dr. Moyses served as server gazetted until his retirement.

Quando +Dom Moysés recebeu este diploma ele se alegrou, mas sua alegria se multiplicou ao perceber que a entidade concedente enaltece, com muita justiça, o grande escritor brasileiro Monteiro Lobato, que todos admiramos. Alegra-nos dizer que Monteiro Lobato, além de escritor, consagrado com a literatura infantil, foi advogado e promotor público. Nasceu em Taubaté em 18/04/1882 e faleceu em São Paulo em 04/07/1948. Inclusive, está na pauta do Conselho de Pastores, desde 04/07/08 - quando foram lembrados os sessenta anos de falecimento do conceituado escritor - instituir uma láurea que reverencie a memória deste destacado jurista e escritor. +Dom Moysés agradece o Barão Wendell e o cumprimenta pela sensibilidade em homenagear “in memoriam” este grande nome da história do Brasil.
When D. Moyses received the diploma he was glad, but his joy was multiplied by the realization that the grantor praises, with much justice, the great Brazilian writer Monteiro Lobato, who all admire. We are happy to say that Monteiro Lobato, a writer, devoted to children's literature, was a lawyer and prosecutor. He was born in Taubaté on 18/04/1882 and died in Sao Paulo on 04/07/1948. Included is the agenda of the Council of Bishops, from 04/07/08 - when they were reminded of the sixtieth anniversary of the death of renowned writer - to establish a laurel that honors the memory of this jurist and writer. Don Moses thanked the Baron Wendell and greets the sensitivity to honor “in memoriam” this big name in the history of Brazil.
