Em 1998, dez anos depois, relembrando a grande bênção em sua vida, compôs o Salmo abaixo, intitulado Confiança em Deus na aflição (dobrou e colocou em sua carteira), onde confirma o princípio de que a enfermidade aperfeiçoa as relações do ser humano com seu Criador. A experiência pessoal mais fortalece sua convicção de que a cura divina, tal como em épocas remotas, conforme se vê nos textos sacros, se manifesta na atualidade e de forma proeminente, caminhando ao lado dos avanços científicos na área da saúde. Basta orar, mas crendo que o Senhor ouve a súplica e a atende. Esta tem sido a palavra ministerial do Pastor Dr. Moysés, que usa continuamente a oração intercessória em favor das pessoas enfermas, na certeza de que o Senhor é o Médico dos médicos. "Eu sei em quem tenho crido e estou bem certo que é poderoso...": estes versos do hinário (Cantor Cristão) têm sido largamente recitados diante de eventuais manifestações que buscam desmerecer os milagres que o Senhor e Salvador Jesus Cristo opera na vida de tantas pessoas.

In 1988, the Pastor Dr. MOYSES BARBOSA, very sickened, it looked to God before some brothers, between whom Pastor Itamar Francisco de Souza and the Deacon Manoel Juventino Sant’Anna, both of blessed memory, and achieved cure. In 1998, ten years then, recalling the great blessing in his life, it composed the Psalm down, when Confidence was entitled in God in the affliction (it doubled and put in his wallet), where it confirms the beginning of which the illness perfects the relations of the human being with his Creator. A história do Ministério Evangélico Internacional Valorizando a Vida! começou exatamente no dia 25/01/1963, quando Dom Moysés Barbosa, que na época era apenas um freqüentador da Primeira Igreja Batista de Três Rios, com seus pais Abrahão Barbosa e Therezinha Barbosa.

The history of the International Evangelical Ministry Valuing the Life! started exactly on 25 Jan 1963, when Don Moyses Barbosa, who was then just a frequenter of the First Baptist Church of Tres Rios, with his parents Abrahão and Therezinha Barbosa.

Em tal data, já possuía um curso bíblico feito por correspondência em “A Voz da Profecia” (concluído em 07/11/1960, e só tinha feito o ginasial), não tinha diploma do ensino médio, e já estava servindo ao Exército Brasileiro e, por estar presente em todos os cultos que se realizavam no quartel (AMAN) e demonstrando profundo interesse pelas Sagradas Escrituras, foi convidado pelo Sargento Zeferino (Capelão Militar), para auxiliá-lo: assim, designado por ele, passou a ser Capelão Militar Auxiliar, trabalho que desenvolvia voluntariamente, ao lado de seus afazeres como aquartelado, e em 25/05/1963 proferiu seu primeiro sermão, e deu o nome de “Valorizando Vidas!” ao ministério pessoal que se ali se iniciava, sem jamais imaginar que viria a ser grandemente usado por Deus na missão de proclamar a Santa Palavra de Deus.

Enquanto exerceu a Capelania no Exercito Brasileiro, logo tratou de retomar os estudos, o ministério prosseguiu, batizando-se no dia 05/05/1964 na Primeira Igreja Batista de Três Rios (Convenção Batista Brasileira), o qual foi ministrado pelo Pastor Itamar Francisco de Souza (de saudosa memória), que se transformou em grande incentivador de Dom Moysés nas lides eclesiástico-ministeriais, começando então em 30/07/72 (paralelamente) a caminhada de Evangelista, na Cruzada Evangélica de Reconciliação Monte Sinai que acabara de criar, com um projeto de conferências em Igrejas, com a participação de outros pregadores (leigos ou não), às suas expensas.

No período de 1968 a 1971 Dom Moysés praticamente não atuou (inclusive não faz cômputo do mesmo para seu tempo de ministério), pois neste lapso buscava preparo teológico e orava no sentido de que Deus lhe desse uma ajudadora: sua petição foi ouvida e a partir de 23/12/72, quando contraiu núpcias, sua esposa Ivanir Maria Belisário Barbosa passou a ser sua Auxiliar Ministerial e Secretária Geral do Ministério.

In the period from 1968 to 1971 Don Moyses hardly served (including statement does the same for his ministry time) because this lapse sought theological training and prayed in the sense that God would give him a helper: the petition was heard and from the of 23 Dec 72, when she contracted marriage, his wife Ivanir Maria Belisario Barbosa became his Ministerial Assistant and Secretary General of the Ministry.

De 30/07/72 até 23/12/88 a atuação de Dom Moysés foi como Evangelista e de 24/12/88 a 02/09/94, como Educador Religioso da Primeira Igreja Batista de Três Rios, data em que encerrou a atividade da Cruzada Monte Sinai e no dia seguinte (03/09/94) foi na mesma Igreja consagrado ao ministério pastoral: assumiu com Pastor-Auxiliar da Igreja, como responsável da Congregação de Penha Longa (MG) e em 27/03/95 assumiu a liderança da Segunda Igreja Batista de Carmo (RJ), onde permaneceu até exonerar-se em 31/03/06, e nesta ocasião nome do ministério passou a ser “Ministério Evangélico Valorizando a Vida!”. Ao deixar tal Igreja, recebeu dela o titulo de PASTOR EMÉRITO.

From 30 Jul 72 to 23 Dec 88 the performance of Don Moyses was as Evangelist and from 24 Dec 88 to 02 Sep 94 the performance of Don Moyses was as Religious Educator of the First Baptist Church of Tres Rios, when it ended the activity of the Crusade Mount Sinai, and the next day (03 Sep 94) was in the same church dedicated to pastoral ministry, took with Church Pastor-Aid, as head of the Congregation of Penha Longa (MG) and 27 Mar 95 took the lead of the Second Baptist Church of Carmo (RJ), where he stayed to exonerate himself on 31 Mar 06, and on this occasion ministry name changed to “Evangelical Ministry Valuing to Life!”. By leaving this Church, it received the title of PASTOR EMERITUS.

O nome atual “Ministério Evangélico Internacional Valorizando a Vida!” veio a partir de 03 de janeiro de 2009, quando foi ordenado a Bispo, em Belo Horizonte, pois dentre as funções que lhe são atribuídas na presidência do Ministério passou a ser Pastor de Pastores, e com uma atuação que ultrapassa as fronteiras do Brasil, sua sede.

Durante todo este tempo - 49 anos de ministério completando em 2015 - Dom Moysés Barbosa, atuou, também, como Assessor do Lar Metodista de Três Rios (15/05/73 a 30/10/78), Colunista de O Jornal Batista (15/10/89 a 2002), colaborador da Igreja Presbiteriana de Paraiba do Sul (07/03/92 a 15/01/95), colunista do Jornal Folha Cristã (1992), Responsável pela Congregação de Penha Longa (13/01/88 a 26/03/95), Diretor do Informativo Evangélico (15/09/93 a 15/09/94), Atuação nos Pontos de Pregação de Bemposta, Ponto Azul e Afonso Arinos (13/10/89 a 27/10/94), Diretor Acadêmico do Seminário Unido (25/04/94 a 26/05/97), Pastor-Auxiliar na Missão Batista de Itaipava (30/04/99 a 05/05/01), Conselheiro Espiritual do Projeto Vida Nova – recuperação de dependentes químicos (01/03/00 a 24/09/03), colunista do Jornal Boas Novas (2003 a 2007) e em 2012 lançou o livro Liturgia Cristã.

E também participou da organização de várias Igrejas Batistas, Consagrações Diaconais e Pastorais, Posses de Líderes Eclesiásticos, e de uma Consagração a Bispo, e com esforço e dedicação, fez todos os cursos teológicos, incluindo Mestrado, Doutorado e PhD e por sua atuação recebeu elevadas titulações na área eclesiástico-ministerial, no Brasil e no exterior. Exerceu assessoramento e administração de inúmeros hospitais e em todos eles procurou unir deu trabalho ao de capelão hospitalar.

ALGUMAS EXPERIÊNCIAS MARCANTES
SOME EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS

Dom Moysés viveu muitas experiências emocionantes em sua trajetória ministerial, e traz algumas delas (sem contar seu batismo, casamento, nascimento dos filhos, casamento que ministrou dos filhos e nascimento da neta), experiências estas que tocaram profundamente seu coração, a confirmarem a presença da mão de Deus sempre estendida em sua direção: no dia 15 de fevereiro de 1960 compôs sua primeira poesia evangélica intitulada “Calvário”. Em 1970 lançou seu primeiro livro Solidão-Poesias, com 26 poemas, entre os quais vários evangélicos. No dia 30 de julho de 1972 assumiu como Coordenador Geral da Cruzada Evangélica de Reconciliação Monte Sinai. Em 01 de setembro de 1979 concluiu a Faculdade de Filosofia. No dia 13 de janeiro de 1982 foi diplomado em Administração Hospitalar em São Paulo. Em 01 de fevereiro de 1986 terminou a Faculdade de Direito (junto com a esposa). No dia 05 de julho de 1997 assumiu como Magnífico Reitor do Seminário Evangélico Centro-Fluminense. Em 27 de dezembro de 1998 concluiu a mais elevada formação teológica, qual seja, PhD em Filosofia das Religiões. Em 13 de janeiro de 2007 foi entrevistado pelo Pastor Nilson Fanini no Programa REENCONTRO (TVE). Em 03 de setembro de 1994, foi feita sua ordenação pastoral na PIB de Três Rios. Em 28 de janeiro de 1995 celebrou o primeiro casamento. No dia 05 de setembro de 2001 orou com o Governador do RJ, Anthony Garotinho. Recebeu em 01 de abril de 2006 o titulo de Pastor Emérito da Segunda Igreja Batista de Carmo (RJ). Teve seu retrato inaugurado na galeria dos ex-Pastores da Primeira Igreja Batista de Tres Rios no dia 03 de outubro de 2008. No dia 03 de janeiro de 2009, foi ordenado a Bispo em Minas Gerais. Nos Estados Unidos, em 01 de junho de 2009 foi titulado como Citizen Deserving of the World Christian Community (Cidadão Benemérito da Comunidade Cristã Mundial). Em 15 de setembro de 2012 proferiu o milésimo sermão, importante fato que se deu na Igreja da qual é Pastor Emérito (SIB de Carmo). Lançamento de selos, pelos Correios, com homenagem pela sua atuação ministerial e na literatura (2013). Em 02 de janeiro de 2014 foi eleito Presidente do Supremo Conselho Brasileiro de Bispos e Oficiais Eclesiásticos Superiores Evangélicos. No dia 07 de janeiro de 2014 participou de um Concilio em Belo Horizonte para ordenação de um Pastor a Bispo. No dia 13 de dezembro de 2014 foi eleito Alto Protetor Eclesiástico e Chanceler Internacional do Supremo Consistório Internacional dos Embaixadores da Paz.

Don Moyses lived many exciting experiences in his ministerial career, and brings some of them (not counting his baptism, marriage, birth of children, marriage who gave birth children and granddaughter), these experiences that deeply touched his heart, to confirm the presence the hand of God, always extended towards him: on February 15, 1960 composed his first gospel poetry entitled “Calvary”. In 1970 he released his first book Solitude-Poetry, with 26 poems, including several evangelicals. On July 30, 1972 took over as General Coordinator of the Reconciliation Evangelical Crusade Mount Sinai. On September 1, 1979 completed the Faculty of Philosophy. On January 13, 1982 was a degree in Hospital Administration in São Paulo. On February 1, 1986 finished the Faculty of Law (with his wife). On July 5, 1997 took over as Magnificent Rector of the Evangelical Seminary Center-Fluminense. On December 27, 1998 completed the higher theological education, namely, PhD in Philosophy of Religions. On January 13, 2007 was interviewed by Pastor Nilson Fanini in REENCOUNTER Program (TVE). On September 3, 1994, was made a pastoral ordination in First Baptist Church of Tres Rios. On January 28, 1995 celebrated the first marriage. On September 5,2001 prayed with the governor of Rio de Janeiro, Anthony Garotinho. Received on 01 April 2006, the title of Pastor Emeritus of the Second Baptist Church of Carmo (RJ). He had his portrait gallery opened in the former pastors of the First Baptist Church of Tres Rios on October 3, 2008. On January 3, 2009, was ordained a bishop in Minas Gerais. In the United States, on June 1, 2009 was titled as Deserving Citizen of the World Christian Community. In September 15, 2012 delivered the sermon thousandth, the important fact that has in the Church which is Pastor Emeritus (SIB Carmo). Launch stamps by the post office with honor by his ministerial performance and literature (2013). On January 2, 2014 was elected President of the Brazilian Supreme Council of Bishops and Superiors Official Ecclesiastical Evangelical. On January 7, 2014 attended a Council in Belo Horizonte for the ordination of Pastor to Bishop. On 13 December 2014 was elected High Ecclesiastical Shield International and Chancellor of the Supreme Consistory International Ambassadors of Peace.
