O Pastor Dr. Moysés Barbosa sempre foi homem de imprensa, produzindo noticiários, geral e evangélico, e assim colaborando com inúmeros jornais, entre os quais O Jornal Batista, numa trajetória que já completou 40 anos e o fez merecedor do diploma de MÉRITO JORNALÍSTICO expedido pela Cruzada Mundial de Literatura, organização internacional. Quando completou 20 anos de atuação na imprensa, em 1988, foi distinguido com Diploma-Homenagem da Prefeitura Municipal acompanhado de medalha do Lions. Em 2008, por sua reconhecida atuação na imprensa regional, incentivando e divulgando as práticas esportivas, foi condecorado pelo programa de TV Esporte em Dimensão Total, com a medalha Jubileu de Ouro da 1ª Vitória da Seleção Brasileira de Futebol na Copa do Mundo.

A Comunidade Evangélica do Rio de Janeiro (Brasil) comemorou no dia 21 de junho de 2010, o Dia do Capelão Evangélico, instituído pela Lei Municipal nº 3.983/2005, de autoria da Vereadora Lilian Sá, em memória ao nascimento do ilustre Combatente de Cristo, o Pastor João Filson Soren, primeiro Capelão Militar Evangélico do Brasil.
The Evangelical Community of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) celebrated on June 21, 2010, the Day of Evangelical Chaplain, established by the Municipal Law No. 3.983/2005, authored by Councillor Lilian Sa, in memory of the birth of the illustrious Combatant Christ, Pastor John Filson Soren, first Military Chaplain Evangelical Brazil.
Em uma sessão realizada na Câmara dos Vereadores do Rio de Janeiro, o Pastor Gualter Guedes (foto) recebeu a Medalha “Pastor João Filson Soren” pelo brilhante trabalho que têm desenvolvido, sendo que outros obreiros também foram homenageados, todos com os nomes para a honraria pela Vereadora Lilian Sá.

O Pastor Itamar Francisco de Souza, que por quase quarenta anos foi o Pastor-Presidente da Primeira Igreja Batista de Três Rios (RJ), nela estará no dia 18 de setembro de 2010, para um Culto de Ação de Graças comemorativo dos seus 87 anos de vida abençoada.
Pastor Itamar Francisco de Souza, who for nearly forty years was the Pastor-President of the First Baptist Church of Three Rivers (RJ), it will be on September 18, 2010, for a Worship Thanksgiving celebration of its 87 years a blessed life.
Agradecemos a gentileza do convite para participarmos com toda a nossa família, o que faremos com muito prazer e elevada honra, pois foi o Pastor Itamar quem fez o batismo do Pastor Dr. Moysés Barbosa, dos filhos e, também, foi oPresidente do Concílio de sua consagração ao Ministério Pastoral.

Aos 66 anos era pastor emérito da Igreja Presbiteriana de Copacabana quando encontrou Dr. John Haggai em 06/04/1977 em Chattanooga, Tennessee, e em julho de 1977 voou do Japão até Cingapura para conhecer o ministério, solicitando que o Instituto viesse para a América Latina.
At 66 years he was pastor emeritus of the Presbyterian Church of Copacabana when he met Dr. John Haggai on 06/04/1977 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and in July 1977 he flew from Japan to Singapore to meet ministry requesting that the Institute came to Latin America.
Enviou os três primeiros brasileiros para o treinamento em 1978 emprestou sua credibilidade, organização e empreendedorismo para fazer nascer o Centro Continental Haggai para a América Latina (CECHAL), em 25/08/1979 no Rio de Janeiro, com a presença do Dr. John Haggai.
Sent the first three Brazilians for training in 1978 lent credibility, organization and entrepreneurship to deliver the Continental Haggai Center for Latin America (CECHAL) on 25/08/1979 in Rio de Janeiro, with the presence of Dr. John Haggai.

Pastor auxiliar da Igreja Presbiteriana de Copacabana até 1981, quando se tornou pastor titular da Catedral Presbiteriana do Rio de Janeiro onde serve até hoje; enviou 39 líderes para o treinamento internacional, promoveu no Rio de Janeiro os seminários regionais anuais para 337 participantes de toda América Latina e muitos outros seminários locais em todo o país.

No dia 27 de agosto de 2010, os 20 idosos assistidos pelo Centro Dia Para Idosos, programa da Secretaria Municipal do Idoso e da Pessoa com Deficiência de Três Rios (RJ), dirigida por William Alves Machado, receberam do Prefeito Vinicius Farah e do Vice José Ricardo Salgueiro, uma van 0 Km, com ar condicionado, para o transporte dos usuários.
On August 27, 2010, the 20 elderly people assisted by the Center For Aged Day, a program of the Municipal Elderly and the Disabled of Three Rivers (RJ), directed by William Alves Machado, Vinicius Farah received the Mayor and Vice Jose Ricardo Salgueiro, a van 0 km, air conditioning, to transport users.
“Esse momento é muito especial, pois não representa uma simples entrega, mas sim uma demonstração de cuidado para quem merece respeito”, afirmou o Prefeito.
“This moment is very special because it is not a simple process, but a demonstration of care for those who deserve respect”, said the Mayor.
O Secretário William disse ser um momento de comemoração e declarou: “Temos um legado importante com nossos idosos. É um imenso prazer servir a essa parcela da população. Os idosos representam páginas do passado de nossa história”.
The Secretary said William be a time for celebration and said: “We have an important legacy to our seniors. It is a pleasure to serve this segment of the population. The elderly represent pages of the past in our history ”.

O presidente da 14ª Subseção da OAB-Três Rios, Sergio de Souza e o advogado Antônio Maximiano de Oliveira prestaram homenagem e em seguida, o desembargador do Tribunal de Justiça do Estado do Rio de Janeiro Cláudio Luis Braga Dell’Orto fez brilhante palestra abordando “As considerações sobre a nova reforma do CPC”.

No dia 14/08/10, no Clube Campestre de Três rios, houve Churrasco de Confraternização, promovido pela OAB local, com maciça presença de advogados e familiares e amigos, tendo a imprensa falada e escrita e até mesmo a TV feito completa cobertura do evento.
On 14/08/10, at the Country Club of Three Rivers, there was a BBQ Fellowship, sponsored by the local Bar Association, with massive presence of lawyers and family and friends, and the spoken and written press and even made the TV coverage of the complete event.
