Na noite do dia 31 de janeiro de 2012, no Teatro Rival (Rio de Janeiro), o festejado cantor e compositor Nelson Sargento, lançou seu DVD gravado ao vivo - O Samba da Mais Alta Patente - que faz parte do volume Memória do Samba de 150 páginas (DVD encartado), com textos de André Diniz e Diogo Cunha, patrocinado pela Prefeitura do Rio de Janeiro, dentro do Projeto Memória do Samba (Oficina do Parque).

On the evening of January 31, 2012 at the Theatre Rival (Rio de Janeiro), the celebrated singer-songwriter Nelson Sargento released his DVD recorded live - Samba of the Highest Rank - part of the volume Memory of the Samba of 150 pages (DVD giveaway), with texts by André Diniz and Diogo Cunha, sponsored by the City of Rio de Janeiro, in the Memory Project of Samba.(Workshop of the Park).

No volume, toda a trajetória de vida de Nelson Sargento, 87, que apresenta farta e apurada documentação fotográfica, mostrando cada passo deste cantor e compositor carioca, sambista da Velha Guarda da Mangueira, já considerado Cidadão do Mundo, que se notabilizou pela produção de sambas que são verdadeiras pérolas, como por exemplo, mais recentemente o samba “AGONIZA MAS NÃO MORRE”.

O casal de missionários, João Batista Martiniano e Isaura, de Três Rios (RJ), que está em Guiné-Bissau, África (mais exatamente na Ilha Pecixe) nos enviou a foto acima, em 29 de janeiro de 2012, do encontro de pelo menos quarenta pessoas.

JUNTA DE MISSÕES MUNDIAIS ENVIOU 120 MISSIONÁRIOS AOS CAMPOS EM 2011
FOREIGN MISSION BOARD SENT 120 MISSIONARIES TO FIELDS IN 2011

O ano de 2011 foi de muita atividade, mas também, muito frutífero para a Junta de Missões Mundais-JMM da Convenção Batista Brasileira-CBB, pois em relatório divulgado em janeiro de 2012, o Pastor João Marcos Barreto Soares (foto), Diretor Executivo da JMM, informa as conquistas alcançadas: foram mais de duzentos voluntários atuando no Haiti, Itália e outros países; chegou a 62 o número de missionários no continente africano; 39 Igrejas foram organizadas e 2.338 irmãos batizados.

The year 2011 was much activity, but also very fruitful for the Mission Board of the World-JMM of the Brazilian Baptist Convention-CBB, because in a report released in January 2012, Pastor Joao Marcos Barreto Soares (photp), Executive Director the JMM, reports the achievements: more than two hundred volunteers have been working in Haiti, Italy and other countries, to 62 the number of missionaries in Africa, 39 churches were organized and 2,338 baptized brothers.

Ressalta o Pastor João Marcos que foi instalada uma maternidade no Mali, cujo nome oficial é República do Mali, um país da África Ocidental, com 12 milhões de habitantes e o sétimo maior dentre as nações africana: “Pela fé cremos que o povo de Deus não recuará, e avançará em direção às populações ainda não alcançadas pelas Boas Novas dos Evangelhos”, afirma.

Pastor Joao Marcos emphasizes that motherhood was installed in Mali, officially the Republic of Mali, a West African country with 12 million inhabitants and the seventh highest among the African nations, "By faith we believe that God's people do not recede, and advance toward the unreached peoples by Good News of the Gospels”, he says.

No dia 11 de dezembro de 2011, o Pastor Ronaldo Lourenço (missionário da Convenção Batista Brasileira em Dacar) realizou cinco batismos na Igreja Batista de Mbour, sendo que os novos irmãos, antes de decidirem descer às águas, foram fortalecidos com mensagem do Pastor Eloi Dogue, Presidente da “Fraternité Évangelique du Sénegal”, baseada nos textos de Marcos 28:16 a 20.

On December 11, 2011, Pastor Ronaldo Lourenço (Missionary of he Brazilian Baptist Convention in Dakar) held five baptisms in Baptist Church Mbour, and the new brothers before settling down to the water, were strengthened with message from Pastor Eloi Dogue, President of the "Fraternity Évangelique du Sénegal", based on the texts of Mark 28:16 to 20.

A Convenção Batista Brasileira-CBB mantém missionários em muitos países, em todos os continentes, e um destes, mais exatamente a Missionária Andréa Chrysótomo, atua no Senegal.

The CBB-Brazilian Baptist Convention keeps missionaries in many countries on all continents, and of these, more exactly the Missionary Andrea Chrysótomo, operates in Senegal.

Ela alimenta o desejo de construir uma escola maternal em Dacar, capital do país, e já realiza gestões neste sentido, objetivando um local adequado, formação de equipe de trabalho e verificação de documentos necessários para tornar realidade o projeto.

Moçambique é um país na costa oriental da África Austral: antiga colônia e província ultramarina de Portugal, teve a sua independência a 25 de junho de 1975, e faz parte da CPLP (Comunidade dos Países de Língua Portuguesa).

Mozambique is a country on the east coast of southern Africa: the former colony and overseas province of Portugal, had its independence on June 25, 1975, and is part of the CPLP (Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries).

Neste país a convenção Batista Brasileira-CBB mantém missionários, entre os quais há uma médica, Dra. Gisele Soler, na região norte, Dondo e Beira: logo que ela chegou lá, não podia usar sua especialidade para beneficiar pessoas, mas as orações de muita gente foram ouvidas e agora (estamos em 2012), sua diplomação já está reconhecida em Moçambique, é o que informa a Junta de Missões Mundiais-JMM da CBB.

A muito conhecida e, também, estimada missionária Analzira Nascimento – uma especialista em missões - está na atualidade coordenando a JMM-Jovem, ou seja, um braço da Junta de Missões Mundiais (JMM), órgão da Convenção Batista Brasileira.

The well-known and also estimated missionary Analzira Nascimento - a mission specialist – is currently coordinating the JMM-Young, ie, an arm of the Board of World Mission (JMM), an agency of the Brazilian Baptist Convention.

REPÚBLICA DO HAITI

Depois da passagem por Cuba, a Presidente Dilma Rousseff seguiu para o Haiti, onde o Brasil lidera a Minustah, a missão militar de paz da ONU no país, e falou que está alocando recursos para ajudar os imigrantes haitianos que estão em solo brasileiro, e concedendo visto de permanência para 1.200: foi firmado um acordo com o Haiti objetivando deter a imigração ilegal no Brasil.

After passing through Cuba, President Dilma Rousseff went to Haiti, where Brazil leads the MINUSTAH, the military mission of UN peacekeepers in the country, and said it is allocating resources to help Haitian immigrants who are in Brazilian territory, and granting a residence permit for 1200: an agreement was signed with Haiti aiming to stop illegal immigration in Brazil.
